PromptVault ("we", "us", or "our") operates the PromptVault Chrome extension (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
1. Data we store locally
By default, PromptVault stores all your prompts, categories and settings locally on your device using the Chrome storage.local API. This data never leaves your computer and is not accessible to us.
2. Optional cloud sync (Pro)
If you choose to enable cloud sync by signing in with your Google account, we store the following in our secure database:
- Your email address (used as account identifier)
- Your saved prompts, categories and preferences
- Subscription status
We never read, analyze or share the content of your prompts. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest.
3. Payment data
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store credit card information on our servers. Please refer to Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for their practices.
4. Your rights
You can export or delete all your data at any time from the extension settings. To permanently delete your account and cloud-synced data, email us at andreaguarnieri71@gmail.com.
5. Cookies and tracking
The extension does not use third-party analytics, cookies, or tracking scripts. The landing page may use minimal analytics to measure visits.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
